Director of Sales - Electric Vehicle Accounts

Who we want: We are seeking a high-energy, driven Director of Sales who likes a challenge and can develop new opportunities. This key hire will come with a well-developed network within the identified accounts and a solid understanding of embedded software engineering and tools.    

Primary Responsibilities: 

▪ Drive design wins for embedded GUI/HMI projects with Electric Vehicles (EV) OEMs in North  America 

▪ Profitably and consistently exceed revenue targets and quotas 

▪ Monetize strong, existing, trusted relationships with key Tesla, Nickola, Rivian, Lucid, Fisker, Atlis,  Workhorse, Hercules EV, Lordstown Motors, and others, employees, and partners through  relationship building, technical competence, strong listening skills, and a genuine passion to guide  their success 

▪ Providing accurate sales forecasts that will be a key factor in overall company planning ▪ Ensure a long-term competitive edge with North American EV OEMs through a value-added  approach  

▪ Rolls up sleeves when appropriate, and is an active participant in new product development, sales  strategies, and marketplace analysis 

Required Education, Experience, and Competencies:  

B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline 

▪ 10+ years of demonstrated success in sales within an embedded software product/services environment, embedded display programming, device or screen-based user interface design with  North America EV OEMs 

▪ Familiarity with embedded development technologies and embedded software development  tools 

▪ The vision to see the solution to the customers’ business needs 

▪ Services sales experience highly desirable  

▪ An excellent communicator within a team as well as with customers over email, teleconferencing,  and face-to-face 

▪ Demonstrated success in consultative sales, selling into North American EV OEMs, and ideally  selling software solutions 

▪ Exceptional relationship-building skills


▪ Understands that face to face interaction with our prospects is required and is prepared to travel  ~50% of the time 

▪ Competency in the use of Salesforce
