Promotes merchandise in a professional manner with the objective of increasing sales and satisfying customers desire for service and a pleasurable shopping experience.

  • Attempt to answer all calls before the 6th ring and take great care in getting all of the customers info for others before they finish the call (such as name, restaurant name, phone number, reason for calling, and order number).

  • Greet & help all walk-in customers.  Maintain a healthy but close distance to ensure you can help when needed.

  • Assist all customers in the showroom by providing detailed information on products and services.  

  • When you have a customer that is special ordering or needs assistance beyond your immediate knowledge please refer said customer to one of our sales associates.

  • Fulfill orders and customer shopping needs by removing item(s) off of shelves.  Make sure to provide solutions if additional carts or carrying devices are needed.

  • Check items for availability and pricing through Auto Quotes and our POS system.

  • Focus your time with customers on the features and benefits of all stock merchandise.

  • Hand customers a map of the building as well as direct them with description as well as by walking with the customer of the layout of REM.

  • When carts are found throughout the building return them to their proper and standard resting place.

  • Assist customers by loading and unloading products from cars and/or trucks.

  • Spend 2-3 hours per month learning about the foodservice industry; particularly the zproduct used to run operations.

  • Help resolve warranty claims by looking up the phone number and contact information to assist the customer in getting the right person. 

  • Make sure if their is a return that your Floor Manager or Sales Manager are informed and processing.

  • Be ready for change.  As a small business we are exploding with growth and opportunity which is both good and challenging.  Please stay flexible as many changes may be made to maintain this growth.

  • Your attitude should always be friendly and calm with all customers and coworkers.  

  • Maintain store appearance (4 sections to be assigned)

    • Section 1 - clean & maintain furniture showroom as well attached bathroom

    • Section 2 - clean & maintain isles 9-12, and shared desks

    • Section 3 - clean & maintain isles 13-16 as well as parking lot

    • Section 4 - clean & maintain breakroom as well as attached bathroom
